Book Character Parade

What a spectacular parade we had on Wednesday! We were treated to meeting and greeting our favourite characters from all the creative imaginary lands developed

in the minds of talented authors. There were visitors from the worlds of Dr Seuss, J.K. Rowling, Roald Dahl and who could forget Fancy Nancy! There were so many

creative costumes. Thank you to all of the parents who were involved in these creations. A big thank you to our outstanding student hosts Milly Raper and Roxie Stirling

who introduced the classes and interviewed the characters as they paraded around. Thanks must also go to Sophie Strang who organised the event

Bayside Council Resilience Survey Action Plan

The five Bully Stopper network schools have used the data from this extensive student survey conducted in partnership with Bayside Council and Resilient Youth Australia to identify three areas of focus for our 2017 year five student action teams. These focus areas are: Student Anxiety, Cyber Communication and Peer Pressure and being able to stand up for what you believe in.

Parent Information Evening - The Resilience Project

Please save the date of November 28th in your calendars. We have Hugh Van Cuylenberg from the Resilience Project back by popular demand. Some parents have already taken the opportunity to attend Sandringham Primary School or Hampton Primary School last term and have shared very positive feedback on these engaging practical sessions that support parenting for resilient children based on gratitude, empathy and mindfulness. The venue is currently being negotiated due to the numbers expected. We will keep you posted.
