Production!-Yes it is approaching very quickly. The students are in full swing of practice and we had a little taste from 2C in assembly this week. Nicole Alexander did an excellent job guiding our script writing team and putting in place a lot of organisation. Sadly Nicole is unwell and we wish her all the best but as usual our staff have worked collaboratively to ensure all goes smoothly and the stars at the end of the day are our kids! Thank you so much especially to Megan Craig and Megan Richter who have ensured the show must go on! So please don’t forget to turn the radio up and sing Brave this week with your children!

Footy Fever-Footy fever has hit BBPS with our Dads’ football match against Brighton Primary being held on Saturday 2pm at Brighton Grammar. Please make sure you come along and join the fun!

The Resilience Project and Parent Information Evenings at Hampton Primary School and Sandringham Primary School-The Year Five Teams from the five Bully Stoppers network schools were very fortunate to hear from Martin Heppell here at BBPS at the launch of our 2016 Resilient Billboard Project.

Resilience has been identified across Australia as being a significant contributor to positive mental and physical health along with the impact on learning when faced with challenging concepts, ideas and tasks. The project staff members have worked with AFL and NRL clubs along with many schools as well. You can google “TheResilienceProject” (no spaces) to find out more. We are very keen for parents to also have the opportunity to listen to Martin and share this unique experience at a Parent Evening.

BBPS parents have the choice of two options:

August 15 from 7:00-8:30pm in the BER space at Hampton Primary School (ph. 95981412)

or

August 22nd from 7:00-8:30pm in the school hall at Sandringham Primary School (ph. 95981488)

Please RSVP to the relevant school to let them know if you plan to attend.
