Congratulations to the students and staff for a fantastic night of dancing and music as we found our force at this year’s Whole School Production. Thanks must go again to Nicole Alexander for her creative foresight, and to Megan Richter and Megan Craig for helping this vision come to fruition. It was truly a proud moment to see our community come together for such a grand occasion. Please enjoy below the overwhelmingly positive feedback we have received from our community:

“The students displayed a delightful enthusiasm. Your school has done you proud”

“I loved the music, the dancing, the singing, the story, the performances, the props and best of all: the joy on the faces of the players.”

“The children performed such an amazing play that I thought was your best yet. It ran so seamlessly and was extremely entertaining.”

“Well done writers, so much enthusiasm and fantastically executed.”

“Congratulations to all the kids for a wonderful performance, and especially the teachers for their amazing efforts.”

“Already looking forward to 2018.”

“So much dabbing!”

Grades 3-6 had a jam-packed day on the track at our annual Athletics Carnival on Tuesday, 30th August. Thanks to Joshua Ancrum for running another highly organised whole school event, and to all staff and parents who powered through the weather and helped on the day.

Market Day was a great success this week with students from Grade 5 and 6 carrying out their business plans and providing a product to their targeted market. Well done to the students and thank you to Terry Morris, Vanessa Gadea, Aaron Steel and Naomi Beales for leading this process. All money raised will go to Anonymous X, a registered charity for the homeless.

Remember to come and join us this Friday (tomorrow) for our Father’s Day Breakfast in the Hall from 7:30am. Following this great event, join us on the Exon playground for the official opening ceremony for our refurbished building, to be named the ‘Neate Learning Centre’ at 9:00-9:20am. The BBPS School Council are very pleased to be able to acknowledge the contribution of Mrs Jen Neate, a long standing member of our School Council and Parent Association in this way.

Student Led Conferences will take place next Wednesday, 7th September from 3:30-7:00pm. Please use the VolunteerSpot link to register and reserve a time. This was sent in an email yesterday, and is available on your child’s level Blog. Student Led Conferences are a great opportunity for your child to share their learning and reflections with you.

2017: If your child will not be attending our school next year, please notify the office as soon as possible. Should your child have particular learning needs that require consideration for class placement in 2017, please put these in writing and send it the office by the end of this term.

September 1st has come upon us quickly – please remember we are a SunSmart school and all students need to wear a hat when outside. Hats can be purchased from the school uniform store PSW Cheltenham: 15 Mills Street, Cheltenham Or from our second hand clothing store in the Hall foyer.

MaxFilms have kindly agreed to keep the sales of Production DVDs open until September 20th. So you still have a chance to re-live the memories, just go to the trybooking link

and purchase your DVD before it’s too late.
