2016 Christmas Party

The Christmas Party was a huge success on Friday even though the weather was a little cool. Santa arrived, cakes were sold, lots of food was eaten. There were many smiles all round. Thank you to the Parent Association team that brought this all together it was a highly successful community evening.

Parent Morning Tea

The parent morning tea was a lovely event with the staff cooking up a storm for our hard working parent helpers. Alice Mareska (1M Teacher) gave a speech which reflected the genuine appreciation all staff have for the ever reliable support that is received from our parent community. Alice also acknowledged those parent volunteers who could not make the morning tea.

Girls’ Cricket

The girls’ cricket team are having an outstanding season so far… last week winning the Regional Final and now, on Wednesday, winning the State Final by 37 runs on the hallowed turf at the MCG. Congratulations to the girls Hollie, Jessica, Angelee, Bridie Olivia, Louise, Grace, Madeleine and Madison and a special mention to super coach Joshua Ancrum for the additional time and effort he has committed to ensure the girls were at the top of their game. We wish you all the best in the National final on Monday 5th December and look forward to the continued parent support that you have had all the way along. Go girls!!!

Parent Resilient Information Session

Well done to all those parents and friends who attended the highly engaging session with Martin Heppell from the Resilient Project on Monday evening.  Thank you for the very positive feedback.

The good news is that we will be working with Martin and his team again next year.
