Welcome Back to Term 2

It is evident from the fresh smiling faces of the students that the holidays revived energy levels and an eagerness to embrace new learning.

Our year 6 leaders were delighted to receive their new windcheaters. This is a special tradition that acknowledges students in their final year of primary school.

Staffing changes continue to occur due to the confirmation of the Principal Role.

Kim Ancrum continues in an acting capacity as Assistant Principal. We thank Jo Manning for teaching in the year 6 team during Term 1. We welcome Amy Chisholm who will be working with Vanessa Gadea and 6A during this time. Further staffing changes to be confirmed as soon as possible.

We also welcome Mark Singson who is replacing Cameron Scholten as our ICT Technician. Ellie Hilton from Beaumaris Primary School is helping for two days per week for the next month while Benita is on leave. Averil Gramaconi is also taking some Long Service Leave.

Cross Country

Always a highly anticipated event in the BBPS Sporting Calendar is our annual Cross Country for our years 3-6 which is held at Dendy Park. The students thrive on the challenge to achieve their personal best and enjoy supporting and cheering each other on no matter the level of capability. Many thanks to Josh Ancrum and staff who were there for the early morning set up and parent helpers who assisted also.  See the action shots from this event held today. Students who finish in the top places go on to the district cross country to represent the school.

Past Students

We welcome the visits from our past students and hearing about how they are settling into their new schools. This week Ryan and Archie dropped in to share their experiences so far.
