Teddy Bears Picnic

Yesterday concluded our transition program for the 2018 Prep students with our annual Teddy Bear’s Picnic on the Exon oval.  This was an opportunity for parents, current preps and new students to intermingle with each other in this exciting stage of their family li

Last week, parents were invited to the hall for an information session where they learnt more about school programs and the opportunities available to families to become more involved in the school community. Thank you to the Parent Association, the School Walking bus, Primary School Wear and School Council for their invaluable time on the day.  The Transition program is carefully designed to provide a structured, well-supported introduction to Brighton Beach Primary School. Rather than being anxious over the Christmas break, students go on holidays knowing what is ahead of them in 2018.

Bike Safety

Safety is a key message of the Bike Education Program which the Year 4 and 5 students are taking part in next week.  We ask parents to reinforce the safety skills taught in Bike Ed such as carefully looking and listening for traffic, approaching with care, ringing your bell and riding at a safe speed.  Please click here for information to the Bicycle Network website.

Thank you to all our parents who have volunteered their time to support both the teachers and the students.

Parent Helper Thank You Morning Tea.

Parents are invited to attend a morning tea as a thank you for their support in assisting at the school in any way during 2017. We take this opportunity to acknowledge your valued support. The morning tea will be on Wednesday the 29th of November in the staffroom.  RSVP to brighton.beach.ps@edumail.vic.gov.au with Morning Tea and your name in the subject line.
