The students and teachers have been practising for the much-anticipated formal graduation evening on Monday commencing at 6pm. This follows on from a beautiful celebration lunch prepared by parents from Level 4 (Grades 5 and 6). This year the students have chosen a ‘Glow in the Dark’ theme for their special lunch and cannot wait to see what the parent committee have concocted for our school hall decorations!

Final BBPS Assembly for 2017 is on FRIDAY COMMENCING AT 12.30pm

School finishes at 1.30pm on Friday following our final BBPS School Assembly for 2017, which commences at 12.30. The Year 6 students will hand over the leadership reigns to our current Year 5’s as the incoming leaders of our school.  One last time we will cheer off the sixes as the Class of 2017 extending our very best wishes as they excitedly embrace becoming Year 7’s at secondary school.  Please note there will be NO ASSEMBLY on Monday 18th December.

Congratulations to the dedicated girls who have applied themselves to building their coordination and accuracy.  The girls have been attending these weekly before school sessions and participating in the end of year concert at MSAC.  They have used individual skipping ropes but more recently have focused on working as a team with the large skipping rope.

Our soiree on Tuesday night was a splendid success. Peter our 2018 School Captain introduced all performers and conducted the evening with confidence. All participants dazzled and delighted the audience with a varied program including solo and group performances. It was pleasing to see the resilience of students as they persevered as true performers. A special mention to Phil Gunther for his dedication and commitment in supporting students to master their chosen instruments.

2018 Class/Home Groups
On Thursday 21st November, the students will meet their 2018 home group classmates and teacher. Staffing for 2018 is currently being finalised. Sadly we farewell Mrs Kelly Stevens and Mrs Elinor Cozens and we thank them for their excellent contribution to the specialist programs at BBPS and wish them all the very best at their new schools in 2018. We also would like to thank Mrs Claire Paitaridis for the outstanding contribution she has made to the Year 5 team and even though she will not be full time in a class next year, we will be seeing her at BBPS as one of our regular replacement teachers.
