Book Parade

What a wonderful morning, to see all staff and students (And even some little siblings) celebrating Book Week as their favourite book character. Well done to our library captains and the ICT captains for leading the event. Thanks to Miss Baldwin and Mrs Bingham for supporting the leaders. Thank you to Sophie for organising the event. The annual book fair will take place in Term 4.

ICAS

Well done to the students of grade 3-6 who chose to participate in the Maths ICAS assessment this week.

Production

Rehearsals are well on their way at BBPS and the countdown is on for production, on Monday 3rd September. A reminder to purchase your tickets, if you have not already done so. Use the link https://tinyurl.com/y7vc3sr7   or contact Robert Blackwood Hall Box Office on 9905-1111.

Franz

Amy Chisholm has adopted a Guide Dog through Guide Dogs Australia. As shared at assembly, Franz will be participating in the day-to-day classroom activities of grade 5 and 6 as part of his training. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to be involved in a community initiative. When reflecting on the experience, the students mentioned:

“Having Franz in our classroom is an honour as it’s the first time BBPS has had a dog” – Evan

“He changes the mood of the classroom as he keeps everyone calm” - Michael

 Next week at BBPS
