 Gale’s Retirement
The BBPS community came together at our final Monday assembly for Term Three, for a fitting farewell to our visual arts teacher of over 21 Years Mrs Gale Rankin. We wish Gale all the very best as she enjoys her well- earned retirement. The totem poles are an enduring legacy to her dedication to the students of BBPS and the art program.

Grade 3 iDay
Grade 3 students are excited about the optional iDay program that will commence in Term 4. Students have the opportunity to bring in an iPad every Thursday to be utilised as a tool to enhance their learning.  They can bring their own iPad or use one of the school bank of iPads which will be made available each Thursday. This will begin Thursday 15th of October (Term 4 Week 2). This is a great way for Year 3 students to transition in readiness for the one-to-one program that is part of Year 4.

To provide more information about this initiative and showcase the powerful learning that is already taking place at BBPS, we invite you to attend the parent information session. This will take place on Wednesday 7th October at 6.30pm in the Collaborative Learning Centre.

Grade 3 Camp
Our Year three students arrived at Camp Oasis and theylaunched themselves straight into the activities. The weather has decided to be kind and all reports to date confirm that the students are full of excitement and having a great time.

We would like to wish Mrs Georgia Hellier, her husband Dom, children Asha and Lachie all the best as she begins her maternity leave and Rachel Clarke our school nurse is moving to Florida with her husband Jamie, and children Ty, Kobe and Devin we wish them both well.
