The BBPS Swimming team competed at MSAC today and were the aggregate winners and second overall out of our network of our eight local Beachside schools. Many thanks to Josh Ancrum and Kirsten Braun for coordinating and supporting the team. Well done to all our swimmers and congratulations to those children who came first and will be competing next week in the divisional finals.

National Day of Action Against Bullying
Friday 15th - The SRC are facilitating a ‘Touch of Orange’ which combines Harmony Day with the National Day Against Bullying. All Students are invited to wear casual clothes with a touch of orange. As a symbol of whole school recognition of the significance of the day – all students will eat lunch together on the oval. Media Captains will photograph the event and share slides at assembly on Monday.
Year 6 to 7 - Each year as part of transition, our students who attend Brighton Secondary College invite their Year 6 Teachers, Principal and Assistant Principal for a visit and afternoon tea.
It is always a great opportunity for them to affirm how they have settled in and are adapting to and managing. Seeing Franz again of course proved a highlight for all and interestingly one of the most popular subjects is Japanese. Another comment was about the new uniform and the requirement to wear ‘school shoes’.
We also have many of our students who like to return to visit us at BBPS and share their experiences of year 7.
