St John Ambulance
Students participated in basic first aid courses this week and learnt a number of key skills. Thanks to our School Nurses, Kelly and Libby for organising the event.

Archer, 3RH “We learnt what to do when someone is unconscious”
Despite the weather, students celebrated a term’s hard work with a Friendship Lunch run by Kaboom Sports and Year 6 Leaders – students participated in a range of tabloid sport activities in multi-age groups P-2 and 3-6, enjoying singing and music along the way.
Josh, 1M “We got to throw pretend fruit at different character’s heads. It was so funny.”
Chloe, 1M “We had to throw velcro balls at a big target”
Oscar, 2G “I liked when we had to copy Miss Mareska and Miss Walker dancing”
Ariel, 2G “I liked working with the Year 6’s. If they weren’t there we wouldn’t have known what to do”
Conference time slots are now available via Compass – please sign up to make a time to meet with your child’s class teacher to discuss their progress for semester 1.
Students are eagerly preparing to share their term’s learning with you at our first ever Science Fair next Friday, 21st June. Come along at 2:30pm to share in the learning.
Two Minute Zone
Thanks to all families who are ensuring student safety when entering and exiting the two minute zone, especially in inclement weather. Students are to enter cars within the zoned signs stipulated by the council. We thank all parents who remain in their cars to ensure that safety and a smooth pick-up process is maintained.
Students have the choice to run a series of student led clubs for the final two weeks of the term.
