Media Release Forms - Digital Privacy Parents are respectfully reminded that when they attend school based events, any group photos that are taken should not be shared on social media without the permission of each child’s parent. This is a common courtesy as not all parents want their child’s image distributed to a wider community. A good idea would be to check with the parents of any children in your photos before doing this. It is recommended that group photos for circulation go through the school as Benita has all relevant media release information. If you want to post a photo celebrating your child, please do it with just them in it.

Science Works Excursion - This week the Year 3/4 students embarked on an exciting excursion to Science Works to continue their learning as young scientists and investigate lots of new and amazing facts about the earth and space. They explored the planetarium, looking at the stars and the rotation of the sun.
Student comments …
Isabella Year 3 - My favourite was when we saw the constellation in the planetarium. We saw the teapot, the farmer’s dog and the lobster.
Lulu Year 3 - My favourite part was in the planetarium the chair went back and we felt like we were spinning. I also liked the energy lab because there was 7 different little balls and one big one for the sun. 3 people got to go up and choose a ball and try and get the one closest to the sun.
Science Fair - Our Science Fair is finally here! The students are all very excited to invite you to come and share in their learning to celebrate their discoveries as young scientists. At 2.30pm we welcome parents to visit the learning spaces throughout the school. Prep to Year 4 will be showcasing their work in their classrooms and Year 5 and 6 will be setup in the Hall. There is also a special ‘opt in’ science fair project display in the Science Room (opposite the office) where you can come and view projects the students have created at home.
