Staffing Update

With the exciting arrival of babies for Jodie Gates and Kirsten Braun, we can announce the internal staffing adjustments we have been able to make to ensure a smooth transition of teachers for our students.

Ms Naomi Beales and Ms Shanti Treloar will take over in year Six.

Mrs Alison Coutts will return to full time in Prep for Term 4.

We are very grateful to have highly experienced team members who can adapt and respond in the best interests of our learners. Interestingly for our Year 6 students the two teachers taking over were their teachers in Prep back in 2017. Naomi and Shanti are looking forward to completing a very exciting Term 4 with our wonderful Year 6's.

From our Grade 6 Leaders:

The following message is from Sophia T and Luca S, and explains the free dress day our grade 6 leaders are organising as part of their Community Action Plan.

Just a reminder on Friday the 1st of September there will be a free dress day - dress up as what you want to be when you grow up! We chose to do this because you will need a proper education to get a good job, also we will not be asking for a donation. We want to remind everyone that getting a proper education is very important later in life, especially if you want to get your dream job and much more, so we have named this free dress day “when I grow up…”.

State Schools Spectacular Rehearsals

Anastasia (4G) "We went to the State Schools Spectacular rehearsal, which was at the Melbourne Town Hall. We have been learning all of the songs and now we are rehearsing with all of the other schools. It was tiring but everyone really enjoyed singing together. I can't wait until the big show, which will happen in September."

Beach Kinder Visit

Everleigh (4R) "The grade 4R girls went to Beach Kinder. We went with the students from the Kangaroo group at St Peters to the beach. We looked at shells and looked for crabs. We also played tiggy. We have been twice now, and we will visit again. I think the kinder kids had lots of fun."
