"We recently moved back to Australia after living in Japan. One of our biggest concerns was how our daughter would adjust — especially with her English and the transition to a very different school environment. At first, it was a challenge. The school system here is quite different to what she was used to in Japan, and she struggled during the first term as she found her feet. But thanks to the incredible support, patience, and encouragement from the teachers and staff at BPPS, she has come such a long way. The way they nurtured her, gave her time to settle in, and built her confidence — both academically and socially — has made all the difference. Now, she’s thriving. Her English has improved so much, she’s made lovely friendships and she genuinely looks forward to going to school each day. We're so grateful for the warm environment at BPPS and everything they’ve done to help our daughter feel at home."

"Brighton Beach Primary School is truly a hidden gem. From the moment we stepped onto the grounds, we were welcomed into a warm and vibrant community where kindness and connection are at the heart of everything. The school fosters a nurturing environment where every child is valued as an individual, and their unique learning journey is both recognised and celebrated.
The dedication of the teachers is extraordinary. They go above and beyond to ensure that Harper (Year Three) has a rich and engaging learning experience. It’s clear they genuinely care, providing the support and encouragement needed for her to thrive and grow into her best version.
What makes BBPS especially unique is its strong student-led ethos. Whether it's running assemblies, engaging in community projects or leading initiatives, students are given a voice and a real sense of ownership in their school experience. This empowerment nurtures confidence, responsibility, and joy in learning.
Most importantly, the children at BBPS are happy. Harper loves coming to school, she flourishes in the inclusive and inspiring atmosphere, and she has developed not only academically, but also socially and emotionally. It’s a place where children truly thrive — and where families like mine feel incredibly lucky to belong."

"BBPS is an incredibly special place. Tucked away in leafy backstreets, it's as much a mini-sanctuary as it is a primary school, and a place where our children were not only educated, but genuinely cared for. It's a school where their individuality was nurtured, they felt valued, and where they could be found playing footy one lunchtime, and enjoying chess club with the principal the next. At BBPS, their education and development was paramount, but so was their wellbeing, happiness and self-worth. I can't overstate the incredible teachers at this school. Their dedication, kindness and care was a huge part of our childrens’ enjoyment of learning and a big reason they came home with smiles on their faces. BBPS was a special chapter for us, and will be for any family considering it for their next step. I can’t recommend this beautiful school more highly."
