Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au. Findmyschool.vic.gov.au hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones.
Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.
The Department provides guidance through the School Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.

We conduct tours every Tuesday at 9.30am for students enrolling in the current
or following year. Please contact the school to check availability.
Admission to School
A child must turn five years of age by April 30 in the year of admission. Evidence of birth must be supplied by a birth certificate. By law, an Immunisation History Statement must be provided to primary schools when enrolling a child, even if the certificate shows that the child has not received any vaccinations. Immunisation History Statements can be obtained from the Australian Immunisation Register.
To enrol your child you need to live within the boundary. In order for us to process your child’s enrolment, we require the following documentation.
Enrolment form (Download the PDF enrolment form and fill in the details)
Proof of residency eg. rates notice/utilities account
Copy of passport and visa documents
Copy of students’ birth certificate
Completed Immunisation certificate
Any other medical/health documents eg. asthma or anaphylaxis plans

Prep Transition Information
At Brighton Beach Primary we know the importance of preparing students for change. Our transition program helps them to understand what to expect as they progress from kindergarten to school.
Once at school, our Preps are allocated an older buddy to ease their transition into the larger school community.
